Peer Review Process

IJRDO Journal of Tourism and Hospitality has a well-defined review process to maintain the quality and integrity of research. Submissions are carefully checked before they are published.

Initial Screening

When each article is submitted, it is first screened by the journal's editors. This ensures that:

The subject matter is correct for the journal
The manuscript follows basic guidelines
It is coherent and well organised

This may result in manuscript rejection or return to the author for revision.

Peer Review

Manuscripts that make it through the initial review are peer-reviewed by specialists in the subject. They will look at:

Relevance to the subject area
Clarity and organization
Quality of research and analysis
Practical or academic value

Reviewers may make suggestions for improving the manuscript.

Outcome & Revision

Editorial Decision

Review Outcome — The editor will decide, based on the reviewers' comments:

Accept the manuscript
Request revisions
Reject the manuscript

Reviewers' comments and the decision are sent to the authors.

Revision Process

If the decision is to revise, authors are given the opportunity to revise and resubmit. The manuscript will then be re-reviewed if necessary. Authors are asked to respond to all comments.

Final Decision

When the manuscript has been revised to meet acceptable standards, it is accepted for publication. The decision is taken by the editorial team.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts and reviewer identities are kept confidential. Review procedures are managed to ensure that the work and the identities of the participants remain confidential.

Commitment

The journal strives to ensure an equitable, transparent, and timely review process. The aim is to help authors improve their manuscripts and to publish valid and valuable material.
